I’m currently writing a comic script and a flurry of flash fiction. I’ve been exploring adapting certain elements of my process for writing performance texts to these other formats. I’m particularly focused on rhythm and moving an audience (in this case a reader) through an experience of a space across time. I’m working primarily in present tense, employing dialogue economically, and adapting concepts of stage direction and direct address.
