On Friday, June 24th, 2011, I performed A Partial History Between Two Columns as part of Performance Space 122’s RetroFutureSpective. The performance was a twelve-minute celebration of P.S. 122 and its artists and ushers, technicians and squatters, ghosts and dogs. Also, as part of the project, I continued my efforts to collect on-the-record accounts of off-the-record events by interviewing attendees and participants of RetroFutureSpective, piecing together a composite of memories and rumors to illustrate a history of our beloved 150 First Avenue.
