S (fka sarah) Maxfield
I’m a genderqueer, bi+, disabled writer with roots in dance and theater. I write primarily young adult fiction in various forms, including comics, flash fiction, and longer works—usually with a speculative twist. I also offer editing services, read Tarot, and serve on the faculty of Chris Tebbetts’s Theater Camp for Writers.
With over twenty years experience working in nonprofits, I also offer consulting services to the nonprofit/philanthropic sector. I have a background in operations, including at the leadership level, and a particular interest in collaborating with folks working to shift power from the wealthy to the grassroots.
The best way to follow my work is by signing up for my mailing list, and you can also find me on Instagram and Linktree. I use any/all pronouns, but no titles. For rights information or collaboration inquiries, please reach out via email to essmaxfield[at]gmail[dot]com.
